Organized at Camp Curtin, Harrisburg for three months service under Colonel Sullivan A. Meredith, Lieutenant Colonel Oliver J. Dickey and Major Richard White

Moved to Camp Slifer, Chambersburg and duty there as part of Patterson's Deparment of Pennsylvania

June 8

At Newcastle

Attached to 3rd Brigade, 1st Division, Patterson's Army.

March to Williamsport. Camped near Saint James College

July 2

Crossed the Potomac at Williamsport and advanced to Martinsburg

July 3

Occupation of Martinsburg. Company B skirmished with the enemy in support of the City Troop of Cavalry

Advance on Bunker Hill

Moved to Charlestown

July 23

Moved to Harper's Ferry

July 24

Crossed the Potomac opposite Antietam Creek and marched to Hagerstown, then moved by rail to Harrisburg.
