The regiment lost 2 enlisted men killed and mortally wounded and 124 enlisted men to disease during the Civil War.

Organized at Baltimore, Md. for six months service

Moved from Baltimore to Western Maryland. Attached to 1st Brigade, Maryland Heights, Division of West Virginia

Occupation of Maryland Heights

At Loudon Heights . Guard duty on Baltimore & Ohio Railroad. Company "B" at Duffield Station, Company "C" at Brown's Crossing, Companies "A" and "B" provost duty at Harper's Ferry, Companies D, E, F, G, H and I at Charleston, W. Va.

October 18

Companies D, E, F, G, H and I attacked by Imboden and captured with the rest of the Charleston garrison.

October-February

Companies A, B and C on duty in West Virginia

December

Assigned to 1st Brigade, 1st Division, West Virginia

1864

February 24

Moved to Baltimore, Md., and mustered out
