22nd Massachusetts Infantry Regiment "Henry Wilson's Regiment"

The 22nd lost 9 officers and 207 enlisted men killed and mortally wounded and 1 officer and 102 enlisted men to disease. It is honored by a monument at Gettysburg. The 22nd's nickname came from the regiment's first colonel, a state senator.
