Florida Units in the Eastern Theater

Florida contributed more than 15,000 me to the Confederat war effort. While a small number, due to Florida's small population it was the largest percentage of available men of military age from any state of the Confederacy. Of these about one third died in action or of disease while in service, and many others were wounded and disabled.
