The Civil War in the East

CSA Flag C.S.A. - Army of Northern Virginia - Cavalry Corps

Fitzhugh Lee's Division

Major General Fitzhugh Lee

Organized as of September 9 under Special Orders 226. Lomax and Wickham were both promoted from colonel to brigadier general effective that date. Colonel Chambliss was equally deserving of promotion but could not be, as 'Fitz' Lee was still brigadier general of the brigade even though wounded and a Northern prisoner.
